Join us on April 9th for our bi-monthly potluck as we break down the newly released USDA Dietary Guidelines through the lens of the Slow Food Good Clean and Fair for All ethos.
The new food pyramid graphic has not only been flipped on its head, but overall guidance has been revamped. And whether you've noticed these changes or not, they have a great deal of influence on our lives, from our personal food choices to school meals, healthcare programs, farming, and food culture. We'll dive into where these guidelines line up (or don’t) with Slow Food themes of sustainability, access, tradition, and joy.
