July 29th, 2025: Slow Food Happy Hour & Industry Night

Our inaugural Slow Food Happy Hour & Industry Night! This series of gatherings was conceived as an opportunity to connect with the local Slow Food community — specifically for those in the industry, for whom events on weekends or our Thursday potluck series won’t quite work. So catch us on Monday or Tuesday nights via this series!

To kick the concept off, we met up at The Soft Elbow, Ramen Shop’s sister bar in late July. We had a fun night as a mix of Slow Food East Bay leadership team members, familiar faces from the food scene, and new friends to be made. It was a good time with good food and drinks (discounted for attendees, thanks to the generosity of Ramen Shop!). It was a great start that got us excited for the coming chances to connect!
